Project Background
The pandemic fundamentally changed the way so many areas of our society functioned. Pharmacy was no exception.
Based on our teams prior research, we had some idea that consumer habits had changed, regulatory constraints had shifted, and pharmacists career expectations were evolving.
Methodology
My team and I first conducted a contextual inquiry to understand all of the factors that pharmacists, technicians, and staff dealt with at their stores as they interacted with the product.
We then moved on to evaluative research to understand the current state of the product and identify opportunity areas to make the most of the industry trends I outlined above.
Results
Interestedly, a potential use-case for our Emerging Experience team to leverage augmented-reality in the pharmacy setting emerged. Research into this digital layer is on-going.
